Dear visitors,
more exciting news...
We are very excited to be able to host Christiane Mudra's lecture this Sunday, 13 June 2021 at 5pm live in the Lothringer 13 Halle.
The author and director of the play "The Holy Bitch Project" will talk about her research on domestic, sexualized and digital violence against women. After Christiane's lecture there will be a chance for q&a with the audience. Registration is mandatory at office@fotodoks.de as the number of visitors allowed on site will still have to be limited.
Other than that, the exhibition "A house is a house is a house" including 12 different photographic reflections on the contemporary notion of home can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday between 11 am and 7pm, at present without prior appointment. As only a limited number of visitors are allowed within the exhibition rooms, there may be longer waiting times - especially at weekends. We kindly ask you to consider this.
However, due to the nature of the lecture on one hand and the limited number of visitors on the other, the exhibition will not be accessible this Sunday between 5-6pm, unless you are registered for the lecture itself.
The exhibition catalogue is available free of charge at the exhibition. Any donation for it is welcome.
You can find our exhibition website and the virtual festival program at www.2021.fotodoks.de.
It includes various audio talks with our artists as well as lectures and discussions.
We look forward to seeing you!
Your FOTODOKS team,
Frank, Sima, Inés, Dominik, Lisa, Verena, Tanja, Nadine, Jakob, Alexandra
